South Park, Colorado is an area most people drive through to reach ritzy ski resorts and other mountain destinations. It's the size of Delaware, yet only has a few paved roads (the 2-lane highways intersecting it). And while I don't have official numbers, I'm fairly certain bison outnumber human residents. It also happens to be a awesome place to ride a gravel bike!
I got a last-minute invitation to ride the recent Colorado Climbing Camp By Haute Route Ambassadors. After hesitating a few minutes I decided I better take advantage of the opportunity and ride as many stages possible (around my work schedule).Â
We signed on as an event sponsor because of the stunning location and the wonderful people who organize it! Just take a look at this vid to get a taste of the amazing riding in store for participants!
We are triathletes, volunteers, runners, couch potatoes, and other kinds of people. We love our bikes as much as you do and swimming challenges as much as it challenges you (probably a lot more). We love the sport. Â
