I got a last-minute invitation to ride the recent Colorado Climbing Camp By Haute Route Ambassadors. After hesitating a few minutes I decided I better take advantage of the opportunity and ride as many stages possible (around my work schedule).
Enduro Bites Ambassador Branden Rakita participated in the Ultimate Mountain Challenge at the Go Pro Games in Vail this past weekend and forwarded this photo journal to make the rest of us feel like sloths.
I made the drive to Emporia, Kansas, AKA Gravel City, for Dirty Kanza last week and am still buzzing from the experience. If you like suffering on dirt roads, great hospitality, and oversized food portions, Emporia was the place to be.
We tend to be pretty serious about nutrition around here, but we still enjoy the occasional decadent treat (or two)! I view anyone who claims to not enjoy a little dietary indulging with suspicion -- either they binge on Twinkies in the closet or they're a pressure cooker about to explode!
I met Stefano for the first time and rode with him during the Haute Route Malibu Invitational in March. He even coached me through the time trial up Piuma Road and I've since continued to use his advice while riding.
Stefano is an unassuming, soft-spoken guy, with a wealth of experience from years as a professional cyclist. He’s the sort of person you can learn a lot from given the chance, so I jumped at the opportunity to ask him some questions.
